This will help extend smartphone capabilities to Quest devices, letting you tap into your messages, favorite apps, and more, all in-headset. We’re excited for this latest development in our ongoing partnership with Lenovo, and we’ll have more to share soon.

The Meta Quest 3 family is expanding! At Connect today, we officially unveiled Meta Quest 3S, a headset with the same mixed reality capabilities and fast performance as Meta Quest 3, but starting at just $299.99 USD. You can pre-order yours right now ahead of its October 15 launch.

We’re releasing two versions of Meta Quest 3S. The first and most budget-friendly version includes 128GB of storage and retails for $299.99 USD. If you’d like more storage, you can upgrade to our 256GB option for $399.99 USD.

Quest 3S is the best headset for those new to mixed reality and immersive experiences and for those who might’ve been waiting for a low-cost upgrade from Quest and Quest 2. Meta Quest 3S Joins the Meta Quest 3 Family of Devices

We’ve rebuilt Meta Horizon OS for spatial computing, with better support for essential 2D apps like YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. We’ve added dynamic spatial audio for panels in your space. Quest 3S has the same vibrant full-color mixed reality of Quest 3, and it’s powered by the same Snapdragon® XR2 Gen 2 platform that was developed in close collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies. The main differences are in the headset design, its Fresnel lenses, and a slightly narrower field of view.

Quest 3S is compatible with some, but not all, Quest 3 accessories, including the Elite Strap, Elite Strap with Battery, the Carrying Case and Compact Carrying Case, the Link cable, the controller-specific Charging Dock, and the Active Straps. There’s also an all-new Quest 3S-exclusive Breathable Facial Interface to help you keep cool while working out or playing intense games.

Batman: Arkham Shadow and Meta Quest+ Bundle

Releasing on October 22, Batman: Arkham Shadow is a groundbreaking Quest 3 and 3S exclusive entry in the beloved Arkham series, developed by Camouflaj and Oculus Studios in partnership with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC.

But you know what they say about new beginnings. With Quest 3S on the shelf, we’re officially winding down sales of Quest 2 and Pro. We’ll be selling our remaining headsets through the end of the year or until they’re gone, whichever comes first.

If you’d like a carrying case, the Touch Pro controllers, the Quest 2 Active Pack, or any of the other accessories for Quest 2 and Pro, we plan to continue selling those for a bit longer.
